Creating costumes at the V&A Museum

Year 3 students had their 4th session at the V&A Museum with Paulina and were able to finally meet our other artist, Bahbek. He was amazed to hear about the students’ learning in the project so far.

Today, students were able to explore the museum to investigate different costumes that were displayed in the museum to give them an idea of how to create their own outfit.

They then explored a paintings area in the museum to get action ideas for their photo shoot for later on.

From session 2 when using their sense, touch, students created outfits from their rubbings from the museum’s ground.

The students learnt a lot and were excited as they now know how to make their own clothes!

We’re very excited to be showing our families in the next month at the V&A Museum of the project we have done this term!
