Children’s Choice Conference

Last week, the school councillors from year 3, 4 and 5 attended the children’s choice conference at the Science Museum. The purpose of the day was to reflect on the importance that Science has in our lives with the hope of inspiring the children’s own interest in the subject.

The day was packed with science based activities, including a talk from a scientist, an activity where the children learnt about human skin and its functions, a rocket show and some time exploring the new ‘Wonderlab.’ The children enjoyed the variety of activities and felt like their interest in Science had been galvanised.
