Mental Health Week

On Monday 10th May, Key Stage 2 participated virtually in a workshop with MIND for Mental Health Week.

Children focused on what anxiety is. Student's discussed what can make us feel anxious, how anxiety feels in our bodies, what joy means, how joy feels in our bodies and ways to make us feel calm. Student's then learnt different techniques and a guide of how to help us whenever feeling anxious about any situation that may occur. Such as; relaxation techniques (deep belly breathing) where we practised a 3 minute body scan. Grounding techniques (name 3 blue objects, 2 red objects and 1 green object).
