On the Wednesday and Friday of the last week of half term, we opened a prayer space in the library. Every class took turns to access the space and take part in the available activities.
The activities helped everyone reflect on questions such as ‘What I like about myself’ and ‘What is faith?’ There was also an opportunity to write prayers for the world with all the thoughts and reflections left on display for others to read.
One class started to pray out loud for the world and ended with their class prayer. The feedback was positive, ‘It was good to think about things’ and ‘When can we do this again?’ being two such comments.
Thank you to all the adults who facilitated the groups and enabling the event to be successful.
