Forest School

Last Monday, the first day of the new term the nursery went to forest school.  It was also the first day of dry weather for a while, which meant we could do and see more. We had a wonderful time looking for leaves, pinecones and wooden discs. We also looked at some tadpoles and learnt how they are going to change into frogs.

After lunch we explored the new area at forest school and learnt how in a few weeks it will be a beautiful bluebell wood. Anyone can visit this area, so if you are in Paddington Rec during May it would be well worth a visit.

We then returned to the centre and made a campfire. we drank hot chocolate while sitting around the fire. We are looking forward to our next trip to forest school next half term.
